Antony Hopkins

British author. Born 1921? I know almost nothing about this author. Unfortunately if one tries to do a google search for him, it changes the search name to the far more famous Anthony Hopkins! There was a prolific song-writer and author of music books also called Antony Hopkins, but not sure if he was the same person. Regardless, there appears to be the only one children's book by Mr. Hopkins, a quirky (some may say odd) story about a girl and her pony who are determined to meet the Queen. Perhaps one for those who enjoy Roald Dahl and similar authors, certainly not a traditional pony story.

As far as I know the book was not reprinted. Although not a common title, it can be found with a little effort in both the UK and the USA.
